The Eastlake Building Department asks you to remember the following:
- Check permit applications for detailed information
- Follow the Residential Code of Ohio, (RCO) for all residential code requirements
- Follow the Ohio Building Code of Ohio (OBC) for all commercial requirements
- Call the Building Department 24 hours in advance to request an inspection
- For your protection, make sure that all contractors performing work are
registered with the City first – call or email (cbrandais@eastlakeohio.com) the office to check contractor status - The building department does not recommend homeowners obtain
permits for contractors. Please call for details. - Remember that all complaints called in are confidential
