COUNCIL AS A WHOLE COMMITTEE MEETING

Council Vice President Mr. Hoefle opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m. 

 

ATTENDEES

 

Members of Council in attendance were Mr. Zuren, Mr. Meyers, Mr. Kasunick, Mr. Spotton, Mr. Evers and Mr. Hoefle. Also attending was Council Clerk Mrs. Simons.  Council President Ms. DePledge was absent and excused.

 

 

Those attending from the Administration were Mayor Morley, Fire Chief Whittington, CBO Menn, Service Director Rubertino, Finance Director Schindel and Law Director Klammer.  Police Chief Reik and City Engineer Gwydir were absent and excused.

 

 

 

Mr. Hoefle: If anyone is recording this meeting as courtesy to the public will you please identify yourself so that the fellow attendees know that they are being recorded.

Representative from the State Auditor’s Office presented an award.

 

 

 

Mayor Morley: That was for the fiscal year 2015.

 

 

 

LEGISLATION PROPOSED:

 

There was no Legislation Proposed.

LEGISLATION PENDING: Placed on First Reading on November 1, 2016

 

11-01-(03): Resolution: For the General Renewal Levy.

 

Mr. Hoefle: This will be placed on Second Reading this evening.

MISCELLANEOUS:

 

Ordinance: To revise the Codified Ordinances by adopting the current replacement pages.

 

Mr. Hoefle: We will need a Motion to add and it will be Legislation No.:11-22-(01).  Mr. Meyers will do that during the Committee Report.

 

 

 

Ordinance: For a Conditional Use Permit for a Gun Smith to Marc Seaman, d/b/a The Gun Shack.

 

Mr. Hoefle: We will need a Motion to add and it will be Legislation No.:11-22-(02). 

 

 

 

Resolution: Certifying that there are unpaid bills owed to the City of Eastlake.

 

Mr. Hoefle: We will need a Motion to add and it will be Legislation No.:11-22-(03). 

 

 

 

Ordinance: To reappropriate for the expenses beginning on January 1, 2016 and ending on December 31, 2016.

 

Mr. Hoefle: We will need a Motion to add and it will be Legislation No.:11-22-(04). 

 

 

 

Liquor License Permit: From Geetashiven Spirits Inc., d/b/a Discount Tobacco & Beverage, 34722 Vine Street.

 

Mr. Hoefle: We will need a Motion to add it.   Mr. Spotton would you do the Motion for the liquor license?

 

 

 

Mr. Spotton: Yes sir.
