09-10-(01): Acceptance: 2014 Tax Budget

Mr. Morley: Ms. Vaughn?

Ms. Vaughn: We discussed this briefly at the last Council meeting and it is required and prepared by the County. I understand, Mr. Slocum, that passing this tax budget is a formality – with your approval.

Mr. Slocum: Absolutely.

There were no questions.

MISCELLANEOUS:

WPCC Expenditure Request: Hot Water Boilers Replacement: $37,600

Mr. Morley: We received an expenditure request today from the WPCC for replacement of the boilers at the cost of $37,600. This was discussed in the annual meeting and was not supposed to occur until next year. The Inspector from the State inspected the boilers – they are not running appropriately. Superintendant Gorka sent this request to spend $37,600. The money is in the replacement fund and Willoughby City Council will be approving this next Tuesday at their Council meeting. Mr. Slocum, it is correct that we have the money in the fund?

Mr. Slocum: It is not in our replacement fund but in the replacement fund for the WPCC. Based on the representation I believe it is.

There were no further comments.

ADJOURNMENT

The meeting was adjourned at approximately 7:07 p.m.
