KEY DATES FOR THE
NOVEMBER 3, 2020
PRESIDENTIAL GENERAL ELECTION
WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 7: Absentee Ballot Application to be Mailed to All Registered Voters.
SEPTEMBER 18: First Day of Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting.
OCTOBER 5: Voter Registration Deadline for the November 3, 2020 Presidential General Election. Board of Elections Open Until 9:00 p.m.
OCTOBER 6: First Day of Mailing Absentee Ballots and First Day of Early Voting at Board of Elections’ Office.
OCTOBER 31 – 12:00 p.m.: Deadline to Submit Absentee Ballot Application. *NOTE: Pending Legislation May Alter this Deadline. BOE will provide notice of election changes on this website.
NOVEMBER 2: Final Day of Early Voting. Hours for early voting are 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. this day. Ballots returned by mail must contain a postmark of November 2, 2020 or earlier.
NOVEMBER 3: Election Day. Polls Open 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. Check your polling location using this tool. Voters still in possession of Absentee Ballot Must Return the Ballot to the Board of Elections’ drop box by 7:30 p.m.
